Phil Spry
Phil attended San Jose Christian College (now William Jessup University) in California and graduated from the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, where his major was evangelism. He and his wife, Toni have planted nine new churches. Collective morning attendance is about 7,000 people. Today the Sprys make their home in eastern North Carolina where Phil pastors a growing non-denominational church. Additionally, Phil is involved in CP consulting, coaching, and conference speaking that specializes in all aspects of new church ministry, with a special emphasis on outreach and marketing. Bobby has been a soldier, businessman, and pastor. He is also the author of, "Answers to Every New Believers Questions" He has planted three churches and has been privileged to lead many in finding their purpose in living for God. Pastor Bobby ministers in Columbus, OH and serves on the Tellstart ministry team as our multi-cultural and inner city specialist. He holds both bachelor and masters degrees. Toni attended Temple University in Philadelphia and is the co-author of the bestselling book, The Fulfilled Woman. She has spoken at women’s conferences, retreats, and Bible studies, and has a special burden for church planter wives. She manages the Tellstart office and mentors wives of church planters. Susan is responsible for retrieving the Tellstart responses each day, creating the delivery files, and emailing them to the churches we serve. She is the first interface with those who respond to a Tellstart phone call. Susan graduated from the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago where her major was communications with an emphasis on TV and radio production. When we are asked for a female voice for a Tellstart program, Susan does the voiceover. She also leads her local church music ministry. Susan is an accomplished writer, keyboard player and soloist. She and her husband Tim have three daughters aged 13 to 16.
Rob is our electronics guru. As you can imagine seventy two dedicated long distance lines that run eleven hours a day – six days a week and a room full of computers can present a unique set of challenges. Rob keeps all the gadgets humming. Rob is a deacon in the church he attends. He and his wife Danielle have 13 year old twin daughters.
Donna has been ministering in church outreach and marketing for seven years – particularly in direct mail. Donna is our zip code and carrier route expert. She understands church planting and ministry in general. She knows the ins and outs of church 501(c)(3) status and can help you navigate the complicated legal map necessary to get things done. Donna will be the first contact many of you will have with Tellstart.
